Groups and coach parties can pre-order lunches and teas in the West Wing. See below.
Coaches may drop off and collect guests at the top of the drive at the Entrance Arch. When possible a member of the family is available to greet coach parties and give a brief introduction to the house and gardens. Otherwise a representative from Castle Hill will greet the coach and give the talk.
Catering for groups
The West Wing will be available exclusively for coach parties. Homemade lunches or Devon Cream Teas are served in the West Wing. Please note that lunches and teas must be booked in advance for all groups and we require 5 working days notice of catering numbers for invoicing purposes.
Please contact us for menu options and prices.
If catering is booked for a coach party, we will also provide a complimentary lunch for the coach driver.
Please request our enquiry form. On receipt, we will send you our Group Booking Form and menus.
Parking is available adjacent to the ticket entrance. Access to the formal gardens and terraced lawns in front of the house as well as the riverside walk is possible for visitors in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. There are gravel paths that can prove a problem for some wheelchairs, and some of the woodland gardens and hilltop castle are only accessible by steep paths.
We welcome dogs in the gardens but please ensure that they are kept on leads at all times and that you pick up after them. You will find dog litter bins in the grounds.
We welcome your youngsters to come and enjoy the open space of our gardens. We are soon to introduce a kids menu for our tearoom and have recently installed new baby changing facilities.
