The romantic Castle Hill wedding venue is a unique 18th century family home in North Devon.  There is a timeless elegance about this magical wedding venue with its mystical follies, temples, lakes and distant vistas of Triumphal Arches and castles - can you imagine a more romantic setting for your wedding and reception?  We are on hand to ensure that every client receives the best possible attention for their special day and the very highest standards of hospitality.

Your Wedding Venue

Three rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies, seating 20, 80 or 150 guests, and larger parties can be accommodated for the wedding reception in a marquee on the West Lawn with its fairytale views across the valley or in the newly refurbished West Wing which will seat up to 150 people.  From 2010 Satyr's Temple, by the stream in the Woodland Gardens, will also be licensed for intimate ceremonies.

Your Wedding Reception

Your guests may wander in the spectacular grounds of this beautiful venue where photo opportunities abound in the romantic woodland gardens, near follies, fountains, temples and castles.

Our comprehensive list of first class caterers offer a range of exceptionally high quality and good value menus and will be happy to discuss your individual requirements.  (Guests may provide their own wines and champagnes - a corkage charge will be made.)

Wedding Fees & Information

To help make your special day flow happily, we can also recommend excellent florists, photographers, marquee suppliers, bands and discos, many of whom are local to the area. Our experienced team are on hand to help and guide you through the process of organising your special day, which is why Castle Hill enjoys its reputation for offering the very highest standards of friendly and helpful service.

We are able to accommodate up to 300 guests in a Marquee on the West Lawn.
Prices and details available on request.

We have a choice of four excellent caterers providing a wide variety of menus to suit all tastes and budgets.  Charges for marquee, equipment hire, caterers and all other suppliers are the responsibility of the client.

Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

Castle Hill will be hosting its first Wedding Fair organised by Wow Wedding Shows on Sunday 18th April.  There will be numerous exhibitors to talk to including photographers, florists, jewellers, caterers, entertainers, marquee companies to mention a few.  There will be two fashion shows during the day and the chance to wander around the spectacular gardens and appreciate all the wonderful photo opportunities for yourself.  Be sure to put it in your diary.  More details will follow shortly with a link to the Wedding Fair website.

Castle Hill will also be exhibiting at the Powderham Castle Wedding Fair on the 27^th and 28^th February 2010.

Wedding Exhibition at Castle Hill
