Wow what a weekend!

Our Country House Sale proved an enormous success and it was wonderful to see so many people here buying and browsing.

Our next event is the first in our Open-Air Theatre shows on Friday 3rd June. A great evening's entertainment for the whole family, perfect for Half-Term.


Friday 3rd June, 5.00pm

Danny The Champion of the World

Illyria Theatre bring to life the story of Danny and his devoted father. Just after his ninth birthday Danny is shocked to discover father's passion for pheasant poaching. But when his father is injured in a suspicious accident Danny becomes the mastermind behind a daring plot to ruin the nasty greedy local land-owner, Victor Hazell. A funny & heartwarming show...with a lot of pheasants!! (1 hour 45 mins with a 20 min interval).

Friday 24th June - 6pm

Friends of Castle Hill welcome evening

We invite all season ticket holders and garden lovers to an open evening held in our new tearoom. Lord and Lady Arran will be giving a talk and sharing details of the membership benefits of becoming a Friend of Castle Hill and inviting everyone for an evening stroll around the gardens. Refreshments will be served.

Dog Funday in partnership with K9Focus

We are excited to announce that following the success of last year's inaugural dog show we are bringing back the dogs and their classes to entertain and delight!

Gullivers Travels performed by Pantaloons Theatre Company as part of our Open Air Theatre Season and in conjunction with the Plough Arts Centre.

The Scarlet Pimpernel performed by Box Tree Productions.

The gardens are open free for two hours before the start of the performance for all of our Outdoor Theatre productions. Bring rugs and picnics! Refreshments are available.
