Farmer Hoggett wins a piglet at the fair - and everyone knows what unfortunate fate awaits piglets on a farm.  Adopted by Fly the sheepdog, Babe develops his own methods of herding sheep using politeness instead of barking orders.  Entered for the county sheep dog trials he is going to need Fly's help, all his wits to win the trials and save his bacon!

Dick King Smith's heartwarming tale of friendship, courage and determination is vividly brought to life by the creative team at Illyria and is suitable for all ages 5+

Keith Dewhurst's lively 1978 adaptation for the National Theatre of this novel published in 1939 tells a gentle yet powerful story of country characters with the action all taking place on one busy day - the first day of harvest.  Plough Community Theatre will breathe life and music into this joyous and heart-warming piece of theatre.

A weekend for the whole family.  There will be wonderful cars on display including a huge array of Aston Martins celebrating the Aston Martin centenary, autojumble, a large number of trade stands, a children's play area, food concessions and a bar area.  The North Devon Motor Club will be organising a Track Sprint Challenge and the North Devon Hospice will be organising a vintage car rally.

Come and experience the thrills and spills of the Top Gear track on the BBC Top Gear Simulator and watch the superb Abarth stunt plane in a spectacular aerobatic display over the beautiful setting of Castle Hill.

Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson

A swashbuckling musical adaptation of Treasure Island.  Join our two young heroes - Jim and Ruth - as they find a treasure map and set sail for adventure.  Suitable for all ages, this open-air performance is interactive, full of laughs and catchy tunes.  Picnic on the grass with the whole family.  Boys and girls are invited to come along in their best pirate gear.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

Probably the most loved of all the Shakespeare plays, Castle Hill is the perfect venue for this wonderful production.

Midsummer night. An enchanted forest.  Puck and his musical fairy band tell a tale of lovers, mechanicals, and magical mayhem.  The Pantaloons make their much anticipated return to Shakespeare with this timeless comedy - told, as ever, in their own distinctive and anarchic style.
